Dressing:
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/8 tsp. pepper

Salad:

2 lb. lettuce
1 can mandarin oranges
6 chopped green onions
1 kiwi
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 pt. strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oil, vinegar, 1/4 cup sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Chill. Over low heat, melt remaining 1/2 cup sugar until golden and add almonds until coated. Place on foil until cooled and break into bite size pieces. Combine lettuce, oranges, onions, strawberries and kiwi. Toss with dressing and sprinkle with coated almonds.
