Cake:

1 1/2 c Wesson oil
2 c sugar
3 eggs
3 c self rising flour (sifted)
3 c chopped apples
1 c chopped pecans
1 t vanilla

Frosting:

1 stick margarine
2 T cream
1/2 c light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat oil, sugar and eggs for 3 minutes with electric mixer. Add 3 cups flour and blend with spoon. Add apples, pecans and vanilla. Stir well with spoon. Bake for 1 hour, 20 min at 350º using a tube pan. Let cool for 1 hour before removing from pan. Turn right side up before frosting.

Melt 1 stick margarine and add cream and brown sugar to pan. Let mixture come to a rolling boil. Spoon over cake.
