Directions:
º In a large mixing bowl combine flour, butter, brown sugar, and water. Mix with a fork until the dough forms into a ball, if you need more water, then add a little at a time, until you know that you can form your dough into a ball. Then take your dough, their should be 2 for the pie, 1 for the bottom of the baking pan, and 1 for top crust.

Then get a rolling pin and make sure that your area is floured, and roll the dough out.
In a medium soup pot, add your brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and make sure that your apples are cut into slices, add to your pot,and cold water. On medium heat, stir until you see it boiling, thenkeep on stiring until it gets a little thick, then shut off. Make sure that both of the crusts are rolled out, and then make your pie.

Cut two slits on the top with a knife, crease your edges, and get your vanilla, and brush it on top of your pie, all over, including the edges of the pie.brush it twice.

Then, in the oven at 350* for 1 hour. make sure you put it on top of a long cookie sheet. you don't want to burn the bottom of your pie.

The last 15 minutes of your baking, brush the top of your pie with melted butter, all around. be careful not to burn yourself when you put your pie back in the oven.

When pie is done; take out and let it cool. Serve, with vanilla ice cream and a glass of cold milk, or a hot cup of tea.
