1 pound bacon
2 cups finely chopped onions
½ cup finely chopped green pepper
2 cans chopped tomatoes (16 oz cans)
3 cups water
1-1/2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
1 cup chili sauce
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Dash of black pepper

In large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Pour off half the fat. In remaining fat cook onion and green pepper until tender but not brown. Add tomatoes, water, rice, chili sauce, and remaining seasonings. Stir. Cover and simmer 35 – 40 minutes.
