1 Duncan Hines pineapple cake mix
1 (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
2 egg yolks
10 oz. 7-UP
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 stick butter
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, with juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, pudding, oil, 4 eggs, and 7-UP. Beat on medium speed about 2 minutes. Pour into three greased cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. While cake is baking, combine sugar, cornstarch, 2 egg yolks, butter, and pineapple in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick. Cool and spread between layers, and then spread on top and sides.
