3/4 Cup White Granular Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Crisco Shortening or Margarine
2 Cup Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Nut meats
1 Cup Banana (about 3) mashed with 1 Tsp. Lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients.

Cream first three ingredients. Then alternately add dry ingredients alternately with bananas. Stirring until moist. Stir in nuts if desired.

Pour into two 9x5 loaf pan or 4 small loaf pans and bake at 325 for 55-60 min. If tooth pick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean, bread is done. Remove from oven, cool pans on rack for 10 to 15 minutes and then remove banana bread for cooling.
