4 ½ - 5 ½ cups flour
1 ½ teaspoons salt
2 packages yeast
1 cup milk
½ cup water
¼ cup oleo
¼ cup honey
2 eggs
1 cup raisins

Filling:
1 ½ cups sugar
2 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup chopped apples
¼ cup oleo

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
4-6 teaspoons milk

Generously grease 13x9. In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, salt, yeast; blend well. In small sauce pan, heat milk, water, oleo and honey to very warm (120-130 degrees). Add warm liquid and eggs to flour. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, stir in raisins and 2 ½ cups flour to form stiff dough. On floured surface knead up to 1 cup flour, until dough is smooth and elastic. Cover loosely with plastic and towel; rest 20 minutes.


In large bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon & apples. Punch down dough. Divide dough into two parts. Roll our half of dough to 12” square. Brush with 2 T oleo. Sprinkle ¼ of apple mixture on center third. Fold 1/3 of dough over apples. Repeat. Cut crosswise into 1” strips. Twist each strip, place in pan. Cover loosely, refrigerate 2-24 hours.


Heat oven to 375. Remove plastic, let stand 10 min. Bake 30-40 minutes until rolls sound hollow. Remove from pans immediately onto cooling rack. Combine glaze ingredients, drizzle over warm rolls.
