¾ medium onion, chopped
4 tomatoes, chopped and drained
1 head lettuce, chopped, (romaine’s best)
1 can sliced black olives, pitted and drained
1 lb. lean ground beef browned and drained
½ taco seasoning packet
½ cup water
15 oz can of kidney beans, drained
8 oz Catalina Salad Dressing
Dash Tabasco Sauce
4-6 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag tortilla chips
Avocado (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine onion, tomatoes, lettuce and olives. Set aside. Add taco seasoning and water to beef. Add drained beans and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool meat mixture. Add Tabasco Sauce to dressing. Toss all ingredients and garnish with avocados and chips.

This recipe is one that my boss brings in for pot lucks in the Summer and we all love it. Interestingly enough, it can come under the salad or main dish category.
