2 3/4 c. self rising flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. semi sweet morsels
3 eggs
1 box light brown sugar (16oz)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix your dry ingredients. Add your wet ingredients and dry ingredients together. Mixture will be still. Add pecans and chocolate drops. Mix well.

Coat a 13'x8' dish with Crisco and add mixture. Bake at 350º for 30 to 40 minutes.

This is a recipe that brings back wonderful memories. My Mom and my sweet Grandmother Hinson always made these at Christmas. Now, I make them for my family. I also take them to every one of Nick and Alexandria's teachers and principals. (just before report cards)
