2 lbs. asparagus
4 T. butter
1/2 c. almond slivers

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the hard ends off of the asparagus spears. Place spears in a frying pan, cover with hot water. Bring to a boil and cook for about five minutes until done. Remove and rinse spears in cold water. Saute almond slivers in butter until lightly browned. Add asparagus and reheat. Serve warm as a side dish or cold in a salad.
