"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
This is Mom's recipe that she made every week when we were kids. We never had to eat store bread....She usually made 8 loaves every week. (and we LOVED Wonder bread and didn't know why we had to eat HOMEMADE bread!!) (If we'd only known how good we had it!) Actually, there is no better thing than fresh homemade (warm) bread fresh from the oven with butter and fresh strawberry jam! Thanks MOM!
