Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2-3 lb. sirloin steak
2 green bell peppers
1 small purple onion
soy sauce to taste
salt
pepper
garlic powder
flour
1/4 c. cooking oil
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 c. or more water, as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Thinly slice meat into strips. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Coat completely with flour. Heat oil in deep skillet until sizzling. Fry the meat very quickly and brown well. Remove the meat from the pan. Leave the drippings in the pan. Clean and slice peppers and onion. Place them in the pan that the meat was fried in. Cook until soft. Drain any remaining oil from the pan. (If it's just a small amount, leave it. It just adds wonderful flavor) Add the meat back to the pan with the onion and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cubs in a cup of hot water. Pour over the meat and add additional water until the meat is almost covered. Add approximately 1/4 cup soy sauce or to taste. Stir well. Cover pan with lid. Cook on low heat approximately 1-1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. It will make its own gravy.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is one of my favorite recipes from my dear sister, Cindy Ann. This is great over white or brown rice or by itself with garlic bread, and awesome the next day. You can substitute the sirloin for a chuck roast but I prefer sirloin because it's much more tender.
