6 c chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 lb candied cherries (chopped)
1 lb candied pineapple (chopped)
1 lb golden raisins
1 c brown sugar
3 c cake flour
3 eggs
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 lb soft butter (or margarine)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix nuts and fruits together and set aside. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs and set aside. Mix dry ingredients. Reserve 1/2 cup of the dry mix and pour over fruit mixture and mix well. Pour dry ingredients in cream mixture and mix well. Add in fruit mixture and mix well. Drop by teaspoon full on cookie sheet (or use miniature muffin liners). Bake at 350º until brown (about 15 minutes).

Teresa says, "This an old family recipe from my Aunt Doris! I give her credit for most of my cooking skills (the good ones, of course). Even if you don't like fruit cake you'll like these and this recipe makes LOTS! (I have halved it and that works well). As a yummy addition (which I do....) pour 1 teaspoon of Peach Brandy over each cookie as soon as you remove from oven!"
