1 1/2 cups stale bread or biscuits broken into pieces
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp brown sugar
3 1/2 cups tomatoes
1/8 to 1/4 tsp dried basil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400º. Spray cooking oil into baking dish. Place bread pieces in dish & pour melted butter over them. Mix well. Combine salt, sugar & basil & tomatoes. Heat this mixture. Bring to a boil & pour over bread. Stir to distribute bread pieces into tomato mixture. Bake 30-40 minutes.
