"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
2 lbs hamburger meat
(or can substitute 1 lb for italian sausage)
4 small cans tomato sauce
2 small cans tomato paste
Water
1 tsp garlic salt (or more)
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (yep, it's hot)
1/4 cup brown sugar (yep, brown sugar)
2 bay leaves
Thin spaghetti noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger meat; season a little with some garlic salt and cayenne. Mix tomato paste and sauce in a pot. Fill two or three of the tomato sauce cans with water. Add basil, oregano, thyme, cayenne, garlic salt, brown sugar and bay leaves. Add browned hamburger; stir. Add the water based on how thick or thin you want the sauce. Simmer on low for at least 30 minutes - you can take longer. Stir occasionally.

Boil a pot of water with yet again some more garlic salt.... (a theme?) Cook thin spaghetti noodles to your liking... Drain and mix with some butter and MORE garlic salt.... Serve with some garlic bread...

Personal Notes:
THIS is the spaghetti sauce that put your mom in LABOR! For real! She was the first of three women that confirmed this being the "baby making" sauce... So, not conceiving... just delivering! And, yes, the crazy secret ingredients make it hot and sweet. But, beware... I haven't measured anything in a while... you might have some adjustments.
