Ingredients:  
3 eggs
1/2 c sugar plus 2 T
3 c whole milk
1 t vanilla
pinch of salt
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar together. Add milk and vanilla. pour into buttered custard cups. Place in pan with water in pan at 350º for 35-45 minutes. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

I use this recipe to make a fruit custard pie, Erv's favorite is peach custard.

I warm the milk.
