4 - 5 slices fried crisp bacon
1TBL sugar
3 TBL cider vinegar
1/3 cup fresh onion (or more)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper (use according to taste)
Lettuce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in skillet till crisp. Drain well. Cool bacon drippings slightly. Add sugar & vinegar. Heat.
Put lettuce (pieces lap) in bowl. Add fresh onions, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add hot dressing & toss lightly. Crumble bacon over top. Sprinkle sugar (very lightly) over top. Eat right away.!
