1 1/4 cups White Beans
2 Cans Vegetable or Chicken Broth
1 Cup Elbow Pasta
1/3-1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Garlic
Salt/Pepper
Crushed Red Pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute garlic in olive oil
Transfer to crock pot
Wash and drain white beans
Add Vegetable or Chicken to Crock Pot
Add White Beans
Add Salt, Pepper and Crushed Red Pepper if desired
Cook on High for 5-6 hours
Boil elbow pasta and drain
Mix with cooked beans

This is a hearty winter dish that is delicious served with garlic or crusty bread. Aunt Aurora sometimes adds sautéed broccoli rabe or spinach to the cooked beans as well.
