1/4 lb white sugar, sifted
3 wine glasses of brandy
1 pint thick cream
ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Churn the cream, using a small syllabub churn. Mix the cream and the white sifted sugar. Let it stand half an hour, then add the brandy and nutmeg. Whip to a stiff froth and fill the glasses.

Mildred used brandy and made syllabub in an old fashioned churn. It was very bubbly and good!
