½ c. Whipping cream
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. Self-rising flour
1/3 c. Cornmeal
1/3 c. Sugar
1 1/2 c. Fresh blueberries
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 2 inches oil in large heavy skillet to 375°F on deep-fat thermometer. Meanwhile, combine cream, egg and vanilla in small bowl. Combine flour, cornmeal and granulated sugar in large bowl. Stir in cream mixture just until moistened. Fold in blueberries. Carefully drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into hot oil. Fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain well on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; serve immediately.
