Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Any type of beef or pork roast
Soft margarine
Minced garlic
Lowery's Seasoning Salt
Salt
Pepper
Chili Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Coat meat with a layer of soft margarine, then coat with a generous layer of chili powder. (It might appear that it will be very spice, but with the other seasonings it is not spicy at all.) Add salt, pepper and Lowery's.

Wrap meat in 2 layers of plastic wrap, then 2 layers of HEAVY DUTY aluminum foil. Be sure to wrap plastic wrap tightly and overlap the foil to seal the juices in. As is cooks the plastic wrap will melt enough to seal itself, but will not stick at all to the meat. Do not unwrap until cooking time is complete.

Bake in the oven @ 350º for 20-30 minutes per pound of meat. Time will depend on size of roast. (Consult meat package for recommended cooking time). An average roast is 2-3 hours.

Personal Notes:
My mother thought I was crazy the first time she saw me put all that chili powder and putting plastic wrap to go in the oven. She now makes her roasts this way instead of the crock pot!
