Mama's Snickerdoodles Recipe

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift flour and blend dry ingredients together. Add to the first mixture. Roll into balls the size of walnuts, then roll in mixture of 2 tsp. of cinnamon. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
