1 1/2 cups margarine
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
cream together Add:
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
beat into creamed mixture
Sift together:
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt add to sugar mixture
Then add 1 cup chopped nuts
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Chill dough several hours. Make 1-inch balls and flatten with palm of hand and put on un-greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or until done. Makes 5 to 6 doz.
