Directions:1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or grease really well.
3. Mix apples in a bowl with cinnamon, sugars, and a dash of lemon juice until coated evenly. Set aside.
4. Place one sheet of dough on the cookie sheet. Using a pastry brush, generously spread melted butter across the sheet, covering to the edges. Take another sheet and place on top and apply butter. Repeat this process until all 12 sheets are buttered.
5. On the 12th sheet, lightly spread the butter and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar lightly to coat.
6. Spoon apples onto the sheets of dough, leaving about a 1/2 inch border around the edge.
7. Very carefully, fold the bottom and top short edges in toward the center. Fold one of the long sides in to cover those and then roll the whole thing over to enclose the apples.
8. Brush top and sides with more butter and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar generously on top. Using a knife, gently slice 4-5 diagonal slits in the top of the strudel.
9. Bake at 400 for 35-40 mins or until dough starts to turn golden brown. |

Notes: I like to use Demerara Sugar to sprinkle on top to give it some texture and crunch.
