1 cup butter or shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla, almond, or lemon
5 cups flour (more if needed)
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter or shortening
1 lb powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla and mix. Combine flour, soda, and powder, then add to cream mixture. Roll or pat to 1/8 - 1/4" thick. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. For Frosting, Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add remaining ingredients.
