1 Asian pear
1 medium white onion
2 T. minced garlic
1/2 c. water
1 T. juice of ginger or 4 T. ginger root, peeled

1 c. soy sauce
3/4 c. brown sugar
4 T. sesame oil
1 T. ground pepper
1/2 c. maesil, Korean plum syrup
1/2 c. soju

1/4 c. toasted sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
In a blender combine pear, onion, garlic, water and ginger and blend until
smooth. Pour into a large container and add remaining ingredients. Add 1/4 c. toasted sesame seeds to the marinade after it comes out of the blender if desired. Pour over beef or pork and let marinate for 8-10 hours.
