½ cup butter softened
½ cup sifted powdered sugar
2 eggs yolks
1 cup sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg yolks to mixture, then stir in flour. Pour the mixture onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Press and flatten with hands to cover bottom. Bake 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Then spread with ½ to ¾ cups softened jelly (grape is nice). Then top with the meringue topping:
Beat 2 egg whites until very stiff. Gradually beat in ½ cup sugar and ¼ tsp. cinnamon.
The topping should be piled evening over the jelly and crust.

Return to oven and bake an additional 25 minutes more until topping is golden brown. Cool slightly then cut into bars.
