2 pkgs. 8 oz. each of cream cheese
¾ cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Vanilla wafer cookies
Foil baking cups
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese with electric beater until well creamed. Beat in sugar, eggs, and vanilla and beat until fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.

Put 1 vanilla wafer in bottom of regular sized (large) foil baking cups (flat side down.) Pour batter into cups, filling ¾ full. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until tops are slightly golden brown. Keep in open oven for a while. Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate. Top with pie filling to serve. Makes about 18 little cakes.
