1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
1 cup plain bread crumbs(panko bread crumbs)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 eggs
1 chipotle pepper in adobe sauce, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. adobe sauce(from can of adobe sauce and peppers)
1/12 Tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. canola oil(for frying)


For the Sauce
2 Tbsp. canola oil
1 cup finely chopped onion
2tsps. crushed red pepper flakes
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar

to make meat balls mix together all the ingredients, except canola oil
shape meat balls in to 1 inch balls
heat oil in pan and brown meat turning frequently for even browning, until cooked through
place on paper towl lined plate.

to make sauce:
heat oil in pan over medium heat. add onions and saute untill golden brown ,add crushed red peppers and cook 1 min.stir in the remaining and reduce heat to low, add the browned meat balls and toss gently to coat with sauce.

This is pretty spicy but soooo good.I've made it with only ground beef and turned out well.Could also be made into a meat loaf
