1/2 lb Butter
1/2 lb Shortening
2 cups Sugar
2 Beaten Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
4 cups Sifted White Flour
1 tsp. Cream of Tarter
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter, shortening sugar eggs and vanilla. Sift together remaining ingredients and stir all ingredients together. Roll ito balls and press down with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake on ungreased Cookie Sheet at 400º 8 mins
