6 cups baking soda (buy bulk!)
3 cups dried lavender, crushed
1 cup cornstarch

Combine ingredients and store in an airtight container. Allow to sit for 2-3 days prior to first use, to allow the lavender to infuse into the mixture. To use, simply sprinkle on carpets, wait for an hour, and then vacuum it up. If the carpets are really bad, sprinkle freshener before you go to bed, then vacuum first thing in the morning.
