1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups sifted cake flour
3 tsp double-action baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup soft shortening
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
sift together sugar, flour, baking powder,salt. add shortening vanilla, milk beat until thoroughly blended, about 2 minutes. Add eggs,beat 2 minutes more. pour into 2 greased 8-inch layer pans, paper-lined. Bake in 350šoven for 30 to 35 minutes
