URMASICE:
2 c sugar
2 c margarine unslated
2 eggs
1 T baking powder
Unbleached flour

SYRUP:
1-1/2 c sugar
Juice of 1-2 lemons
Water

Directions:
Directions:
First make the syrup. Melt the sugar over low heat caramelize, add water slowly with the lemon juice. Should be a thick syrup like maple.Cool.

Beat the eggs, mix in the sugar, margarine, enough flour (already mixed with baking powder) to make a soft dough. Form little balls of dough, press into oblong, oval uniform shape. Place on UNGREASED rectangular pan. Bake at 325 about 15- 20 minutes till set. Make sure the syrup is completely cool. Pour cooled syrup over the hot urmasice. Let sit in pan, syrup will thicken.
