2 Sticks of Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Karo Syrup
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
12 Ounce Kellogg's Crisp-ix
2 Cup Nuts
Optional: add M&M's
Directions:
Directions:
In pan boil butter, sugar and, karo syrup for three minutes, then add vanilla and baking soda. In a brown paper bag add cereal, nuts, then pour caramel mixture over. Close the top of the bag and shake until mixed. Microwave the ingredients in the brown bag for 2 1/2 minutes and shake. Repeat this step two more times. Optional: Add M&M's when almost completely cooled. Open bag then spread out on flat surface till completely cooled.
