1 c. cream of mushroom soup
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained)
1 yellow onion (finely diced)
4 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 package sliced, fresh mushrooms
1 bag parmesan cheese
3-4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Splash of milk (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large sauce pan melt the butter.
Once melted combine all remaining ingredients.
Stir thoroughly and often while cooking over medium heat.
Cook until thick and hot.
Once it is about done I use a splash of milk to make it a bit creamier...this is optional depending on how thick you like it.
At the very end I add the crumbled bacon...this can be omitted if you want the dish to be vegetarian.
