1 lb. hamburger
5 c. potatoes, peeled & diced
3/4 c. onion, chopped
3/4 c. carrots, chopped
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
8 oz. Velveeta, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and onion in Dutch oven. Add potatoes, onion, carrots, spices and chicken broth. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender. In small saucepan, make rue of butter and flour. Slowly add milk and stir until milk is hot. Add cheese and continue stirring over moderate heat until cheese is melted. Add cheese sauce to hamburger mixture. Heat throughout.
