1 lb. dates, chopped
1 lb. walnuts, whole or pieces
1 lb. Brazil nuts, (opt.)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 large jar red maraschino cherries with juice
1 small jar green maraschino cherries with juice
1/2 pkg. raisins



1 1/2 c. flour
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together first seven ingredients; using juice, let set overnight. Add flour to fruit mixture. Beat together; eggs, vanilla, salt, and baking powder. Add to fruit and nut mixture. Bake in two 5x9 baking loaf pans at 325º for 1-1 1/2 hrs. Cool in pan for 30 minutes. Lift out. Cool completely. Wrap in waxed paper and foil. Refrigerate. Can be frozen.
