1-2 cups cut up leftover chicken or 1 can of chicken
2 tbsp butter or margarine
flour to make a paste
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups milk
3 cups frozen mixed vegetables

Directions:
Directions:
Put rice on first, because this is a quick dinner.
Put vegetables on to cook (either the microwave or the stove).
Melt butter in a skillet large enough to hold all the ingredients. Add enough flour to make a paste. Cook for a minute on medium heat. Add salt & pepper, and start adding the milk. Using a whisk, mix milk with the paste to form a white sauce. Continue cooking and stirring until all the milk has been added and it has returned to a boil. Turn down heat, and add chicken and vegetables. Cook until mixture boils and chicken is hot, then serve with rice.
