1 pound cake, bought or homemade

Pudding:

2 c milk
3 T flour
3 eggs(slightly beaten)
1/4 c sugar
pinch of salt
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk, sugar, flour, eggs and salt. Cook over medium heat in a heavy pot until thickened. Turn heat off and add vanilla. Add sherry a little at a time to taste. Be sure to stir constantly.

In a pretty glass bowl pour pudding over broken-up pound cake and top with fresh whipping cream. You may also serve in parfait stems. It will take 3 or 4 cups of pound cake.
