6 eggs
2 T. sugar
2 c. flour (use more according to dough consistency)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. brandy or bourbon

Directions:
Beat eggs well. Add sugar, salt and brandy. Gradually add flour and stir until the dough holds together for kneading. Knead dough on a lightly floured bread board until smooth. Lightly rub with oil, cover and let rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle bread board lightly with flour and place dough in the center. Roll out very thin (about 1/8 inch thick). With a pastry cutter, cut the dough lengthwise into strips about 3 inches wide. then crosscut into pieces 4 inches long. Slit each piece in the center. Pull one end through the center to make a bowtie. Deep fry in vegetable oil on both sides, until a light golden color. Cool and sprinkle with powdered or granulated sugar.
