1/2 lb. sliced bacon
1 lb. lean ground beef (optional)
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves chopped garlic
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1 can kidney beans
1 can pork and beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can french cut green beans
1/2 c. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 - 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp salt
black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Add following ingredients to crock pot:
bacon - fried, cooled on paper towel and crumbled

Brown together:
ground beef, onions, garlic, celery and bell pepper.
Drain fat.

Add:
Beans, catsup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper.

Gently stir together. Cook on low until heated through.

May substitute:
lima beans, butter beans, black beans or cut green beans

Good for picnics and potlucks.

May also bake in large casserole dish at 325 degrees for at least one hour.
