1 lb fresh cranberries
1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1/2 c golden raisins
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1c water
1c chopped white onion
1c chopped apple
1c chopped celery

Directions:
Directions:
Chop the produce to the size of a dime or 1/4 inch.
Simmer cranberries, both sugars, raisins, spices and water in a two quart pan over medium heat, stirring frequently until juice is released from berries (about ten minutes).
Reduce heat, stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer,uncovered, until thick (about ten minutes...but don't overcook).
The onion, apple, and celery should remain somewhate firm. Cool mixture. Chutney may be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Cranberries tend to come in 20 oz bags so I use two and double the rest of the recipe which makes for a tarter batch.
