2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. veg. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. semi-sweet choc. chips
2/3 c. white choc. chips
1/3 c. butterscotch chips
3/4 c. chopped walnuts(opt.)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter, shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture along with oatmeal. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly on pans before removing to racks. Store in airtight container.
