1/2C butter well chilled 11/2C flour 1/4C ice water
11/2C light brown sugar 1C butter 1/2C honey or
light corn syrup 1/3C sugar 1lb. chopped pecans
1/4C whipping cream
Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Directions:
Cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse
meal.Add water and toss lightly with fork. Form dough into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour. On lightly floured surface
roll out dough into a 10x 14 inch rectangle and place in a 9 x 13 inch floured dish. Pierce dough
with fork and chill. In a heavy saucepan combine
brown sugar,butter,honey and sugar and bring to
a boil,stirring constantly and cook about 4 minutes
over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and then blend in cream. Pour over dough
and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool
completely before cutting into 1 inch diamonds.
