1 baguette, sliced
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp chopped fresh garlic
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
3 or four sprigs of fresh basil, chopped
fresh mozzarella, cut into slices

Preheat the broiler.

Cover a cookie sheet with foil. Place all the slices of the baguette on the sheet and gently toast one side of the bread.

In a medium sized bowl, gently mix the oregano, garlic, salt, vinegar and olive oil with the tomatoes. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the baguette's toasted side. Add a little chopped basil on top of the tomato mixture and then place a slice of mozzarella on top of that. Toast under the broiler until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
