1 bottle (can) beer
2 packets dry onion soup mix
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cube beef bouillon
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (about 2 shakes)
1 Tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca
3 lb. pot roast

Directions:
Directions:

1. Add all ingredients, except for the roast, to the slow cooker crock and mix well. Add the roast and turn it to coat with the sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

2. Carefully remove the meat from the slow cooker and let it rest, covered with aluminum foil, on a platter or clean cutting board for 10 minutes. Slice the meat (it will break apart easily). Pass the cooking juices along with the meat as "gravy" if desired
