1 12.5 oz package Dreamfield's Penne Rigate Pasta

1 clove of garlic, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions:
Boil penne according to package directions. While pasta is boiling, in a separate pan, saute chopped garlic in olive oil over medium heat and add pepper flakes. When garlic is lightly browned, add 1/3 c white wine and drained kidney beans -- turn heat down to low for a few minutes until kidney beans are heated. Add salt to taste. Drain pasta and transfer to bowl. Pour beans, garlic & wine mixture over pasta & serve.

Personal Notes:
This is a basic recipe that can be altered based on your tastes and what's in the fridge. You can add veggies like a little sauteed spinach or steamed broccoli. Or you can even substitute pinquitos for the kidney beans, lime juice & water for the wine and add Mexican spices instead of the red pepper flakes. Have fun with it.

Also I chose Dreamfields pasta because it is low carb and higher in protein, but actually any penne pasta will work.
