bag of frozen hashbrowns (I like Wal-Mart brand best)
1 stick butter/margarine, melted
10.75 oz can cream of chicken
8 oz sour cream
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar

Directions:
Directions:
*Grease a 9×13 pan. Pour in hashbrowns; season with salt and pepper.

*Top hashbrowns with onions.

*Mix butter, sour cream and cream of chicken.

*Pour soup mixture over hashbrowns.

*Top with 1- 1/2 cups cheese.

*Bake at 425* for 35 minutes.

*Pour in final 1/2 cup of cheese and mix well.

*Return to oven and bake additional 15 minutes.
