1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. wild rice
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
3/4 c. evaporated milk
Oil
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can water
1/2 soup can dry white wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sage

1. Combine ground meat with onion, rice, salt, bread crumbs and milk. Mix briefly and thoroughly. Shape into 1-inch diameter meatballs. Brown lightly on all sides in a small amount of oil in skillet over medium high heat.

2. Mix mushroom soup, water, wine, salt, pepper, and sage. Pour mixture over meatballs. Cover and simmer over very low heat for about 1 1/2 hours, or bake, covered, in over at 275ºF for about 1 1/2 hours.
