1 C. Butter
1 C. Crisco
1 C. Brown Sugar
4 Egg yolks
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
3-1/2C. Flour
2 C. finely chopped nuts
4 egg whites – beat slightly with fork.

Directions:

Cream together:

1 C. Butter
1 C. Crisco
1 C. Brown Sugar
4 Egg yolks

Add:

2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
3-1/2C. Flour

Combine ingredients, chill in refrigerator.

2 C. finely chopped nuts
4 egg whites – beat slightly with fork.

Roll dough into balls, 1 tbsp. Per ball. Dip ball into egg whites and roll in chopped nuts. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press thumb gently into center of each. Bake 350 degrees, 10-12 minutes. Fill prints with icing when cooled.
